Today we started something new in our room! We are learning how important it is to be bucket fillers! We learned everyone has their own imaginary bucket. Whenever they are not nice to friends, they are dipping in to each others bucket and making the other person feel sad. We made this come to life in our room by giving everyone their own bucket! When someone uses nice words, holds open a door, who is using nice manners, and etc they get to put a warm and fuzzy in their bucket!! Once their bucket is full they get to choose a prize from the prize box! Then we will empty their bucket to start over and to encourage making great choices in our classroom!

S'mores Are Delicious!!
While learning about camping, what better way than to make a s'more! The kids LOVED cooking the marshmallow and then eating it! It is such a tasty treat!
All you have to do is put a graham cracker on a plate. Place the marshmallow on the graham cracker. Cook in the microwave for 10 - 15 seconds. Take the plate out and place a piece of chocolate on top and squish the marshmallow down. Put another graham cracker on top and ENJOY!!
Outside Fun!
During nap time, we have a few kids who do not nap. So we create games and activities for the kids to play or do! One day this week we made sidewalk paint! They had so much fun mixing it and then going to the front of Safari and squirting it all over the parking lot! We used equal parts water and cornstarch, then added food coloring! We mixed up at least 3 batches each!
Hand Print Campfires!
We made campfires in our classroom this week! Throughout the week we have been learning about camping! To go along with this activity we learned about fire safety and how to only be around a fire when there is a grown up around to make sure we are being safe.
