Water Day Fun!

What fun we had this morning for our water day! The kids loved every minute of it and are now taking some great naps! Towards the end we played a water game where they each had a cup and they dumped it over their head and the friend behind them had to catch the water. Then they kept it going!

Painting With Our Feet!

This week we are doing lots of summer fun things! One day this week we painted with our feet! The kids loved the feeling of the paint on their little toes while walking around and making their footprints!

Rainbow in a Jar!

Today for one of our groups we did a rainbow in a jar! We talked about the different colors in the rainbow. Then we dropped that color in the water to see how fast it went to the bottom. We also talked about how the different colors looked inside the jar! It was a great science experiment for the kids to do!

Sending Happy Birthday Cards to Danny!

Today we had a spur of the moment idea! Miss Amanda thought it would be a great idea for friends to send a little boy who is now 6 and has cancer birthday cards! Today, July 25th, is his birthday and we discussed as a class how the little boy is sick and all he wanted for his birthday was to get mail because he gets very excited when he gets mail! They had a blast writing "Happy Birthday" and then drawing him a picture on the inside! We will be getting them sent in the mail so he can get them as soon as possible! They were extremely proud of their work and couldn't wait to send it!
